Pencilling complete

I can’t deny it was a struggle but I finally finished pencilling the book towards the end of July. What had started with optimism became a grind as I laboured through 163 pages at a rate of 2 to 3 pages a day. Thankfully, things progressed better towards the end, and I completed the work in time to take a family holiday on the beautiful island of Tiree.

I’m back and ready to get started on inking. It’s a nice stage of the process, allowing me enough headspace to stick on some podcasts and just get to work. I’ll be inking exclusively on the iPad, allowing me a more smooth and immediate experience of drawing than the Wacom tablet and screen combo I use for pencilling allows.
